Vastu Shanti is advised when a home has stood unoccupied, been resold, renovated, or simply feels heavy. It is also the deeper ceremony beneath a Griha Pravesh. The rite honours the Vastu Purusha — the spirit of the dwelling itself — and seeks pardon for any disturbance caused during construction.
The ceremony includes Punyahavachan (purification), the Vastu Purusha puja, Navagraha shanti and a havan, closing with sprinkling of sanctified water through the home. Acharya Brajesh performs it in the Shankaracharya paddhati or the Vedic paddhati according to your family's sampradaya.
